Volunteers Needed – Two Communications Co-Chair Positions

The Endeavor AFA MEC is seeking two Communications Co-Chairs to join our team. These positions play a vital role in ensuring our members receive timely, accurate, and engaging information while helping maintain the MEC's digital presence.

Position Responsibilities

The Communications Co-Chairs will work together to provide the MEC with a unified voice across multiple communication platforms. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Communications

  • Develop and maintain effective communication strategies for the membership.
  • Draft, proofread, and publish weekly e-lines and other communications as needed.
  • Work with the MEC to ensure communications are accurate and approved prior to publication.
  • Provide committee reports at MEC meetings.
  • Assist with recruiting and supporting Local Communications Committee members.

Technology & Digital Media

  • Maintain and update the MEC website.
  • Update electronic bulletin boards and news feeds.
  • Create banners and graphics for e-lines and other communications.
  • Assist with social media and other electronic communication platforms.
  • Utilize website management tools, image editing software, and other digital media resources.

Qualifications

Applicants must:

  • Be an Endeavor Flight Attendant.
  • Be an AFA member in good standing.
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Possess excellent spelling, grammar, and proofreading abilities.
  • Be proficient with computers and technology, including website management and image editing.
  • Be able to meet deadlines and work efficiently in a time-sensitive environment.
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling union business.
