16th Annual FADAP Conference
Over 400 Flight Attendant peers, Flight Attendant leaders, and management representatives from 25 airlines attended the 16th Annual Flight Attendant Drug and Alcohol Program (FADAP) Conference this week at the Maritime Conference Center in Baltimore.
Endeavor Air AFA-CWA was represented by Karen Koonce, MEC EAP Chair, and Elizabeth Mullins, MEC President.
More than 16 hours of mental health and substance use education were provided throughout the conference. AFA was successful in achieving government authorization for this program, which is overseen by the FAA and brings labor, management, and regulators together to promote safety and security through treatment, support, and consistent recovery.
The conference also provided an opportunity to learn from programs being used across the industry and bring back ideas and resources that can strengthen the support available to our Endeavor Flight Attendants.
