Introducing On The Line

Communication is one of the most important tools we have as a union. It keeps us informed, connected, and prepared to advocate for ourselves and each other. At the same time, we recognize that the volume of emails, updates, and committee messages can sometimes feel overwhelming.

That’s why we are introducing On The Line — a new, centralized newsletter designed to bring everything together in one place.

On The Line will serve as a semi-monthly publication where Flight Attendants can easily access important updates, committee reports, contract information, and union news. Instead of multiple separate email blasts, members will receive a single, streamlined update with links to full articles hosted on our website.

This approach allows us to do two important things: reduce inbox fatigue while improving the quality and accessibility of information. Rather than short, fragmented messages, On The Line gives us the space to provide context, explain issues clearly, and ensure every member has access to the full picture.

Our work as a union is complex. From contract enforcement to safety reporting, scheduling concerns to negotiations preparation, there is always more happening than can be captured in a quick email. As outlined in our operational and policy frameworks, our roles require not only adherence to procedures, but informed judgment and awareness across all areas of our work . This newsletter is one step toward strengthening that awareness across the membership.

You can expect On The Line to include:

Updates from union leadership
Committee highlights and ongoing work
Contract education and clarifications
Safety and operational insights
Opportunities for member involvement

Most importantly, this newsletter is for you. It is a tool to keep every Flight Attendant informed, engaged, and empowered.

When you receive the On The Line email, we encourage you to click through, read, and stay connected. An informed membership is a stronger membership — and a stronger membership builds a stronger union.

Welcome to On The Line.
