Cabin Galley: Report It, So We Can Fix It

As we head into August, this is a good reminder that many of the issues Flight Attendants experience in the cabin and galley are only addressed when they are reported.

Whether it's broken or missing equipment, inoperative galley components, catering discrepancies, damaged carts, missing emergency equipment, or other cabin concerns, accurate reporting helps identify trends and supports efforts to resolve recurring issues.

If you encounter a safety concern, work with your crew, notify the captain when appropriate, and complete the necessary reports. Submitting an ASAP report when applicable helps ensure safety-related issues are documented and reviewed.

Your reports provide valuable information that allows both the Company and the Union to advocate for improvements that benefit Flight Attendants and the operation as a whole.

If you have questions or concerns regarding cabin or galley standards, please contact your AFA Cabin & Galley Standards Committee Chair.
