Non-revenue Reminders for the Summer Travel Season

It’s that time of year again—summer flying is here, and I’m sure many of us are looking forward to using our flight benefits to explore new destinations, visit family and friends, or simply enjoy some well-earned time away.

As a reminder, Alaska Airlines has fully integrated Hawaiian Airlines into its listing system. If you are planning to travel on Hawaiian-operated flights, please visit the Endeavor website and navigate to the Reciprocal Airlines section for step-by-step instructions on how to list properly.

In addition, the company recently shared through "Rumor Has It" that employees may be able to occupy the jumpseat on payload-optimized flights. Please remember that while this option may be available, the captain always has the final authority regarding jumpseat access and occupancy.

As summer travel ramps up and flights become increasingly full, I encourage everyone to continue practicing professional non-rev and jumpseat etiquette when traveling on Delta or any of our reciprocal partner airlines. Our travel privileges are a valuable benefit and representing ourselves and our company in a professional and respectful manner helps maintain the positive relationships we have throughout the industry.

If you experience any issues while traveling, have concerns regarding reciprocal agreements, or need assistance with commuting or listing procedures, please don't hesitate to reach out to me or your LECPs.

Safe travels and enjoy your summer adventures!
