Flight Attendant LOSA Program – What You Need to Know

During November and December, you may see Line Operations Safety Audit (LOSA) observers onboard your flights. This is a joint AFA and Endeavor Air initiative designed to identify safety concerns and operational challenges during normal flight operations.

LOSA is confidential, non-punitive, and NOT a ghost-riding program. Observers are fellow Endeavor Flight Attendants who have received specialized training. They will introduce themselves before the flight, observe normal operations, and will not interfere with your duties or test your knowledge.

All information collected is de-identified and cannot be used for disciplinary purposes. Once observations are complete, AFA and company representatives will review the findings, identify trends, and make recommendations for safety improvements. A summary will also be shared with Flight Attendants.

The goal is simple: identify safety concerns, not place blame. AFA's involvement helps ensure the focus remains on improving safety for our Flight Attendants and passengers.
