4.One maybe discuss with Elizabeth so the company can see 2027 is too late.
With the recent (and even in the past, and Glass Door) that our pay is not good. However, with Patty it was talk with your Union, and Union says talk with Patty. Camille sent survey results. It's still bad, but it continues to be "your CBA" and we are committed to blah blah blah. If they know this, why don't we have a LOA in the meantime? LEC 46(brought by A.Parr)
* Is this for a mec agenda item, a camille sit down agenda item, a town hall question, or labor mgt agenda? I think Camille answered this one herself, but that does not mean we can't keep bringing it up every time we see them. I was not sure what agenda this should go on since he wanted me to discuss this with you. Let's make it a MEC agenda item so we can discuss the best way to address this with the company.
Action: An Eline regarding unanimously agreed to send out an eline regarding not accepting language “At the discretion of the company” going forward. Along with International Officers signature.
Meeting with International Nov 26 to discuss. Zoom link sent to MEC

5.Communicate to FAs that big or small IT IS OKAY to ASK QUESTIONS and you cannot get in trouble for asking questions or speaking up. Especially, when it comes to pre-flight and gate agent intimidation to "ready to board". I don't know how it can be done without it getting taken advantage of. With so many new people they should not operate in fear. LEC 46 (brought by AParr)
*you are more than free to discuss this information with your members and it is encouraged. I suggest you provide this to your members in your elines and membership meetings. Noah also provides it in new hire. Is this an agenda item? Since Noah covers this at new hire, I will circle back with Alex to let him know. But I think it is a good idea to mention this during our town hall meeting.
6.The last safety department or AFA Safety and the air quality reports in the cabin, in addition how often filters are changed. LEC 46(brought by Aparr)
*there is information on the website about air quality and fumes. and Judith just did another presentation so that will be updated as well and we also continue to hand out the fume events cards of which your lec was given to hand out to members a 2 years ago no LEC has requested additional cards to date, the cards are also handed out in new hire classes. As for reports, do you want the number through AFA International ASHSD or through MX and clarify the type of report you would like.
The HEPA cabin filter is changed every 3000 flight hours. Which is about every year and a half.
The cause of the majority of fume events are due to faulty recirc fans or pac’s which are typically replaced after the fume event is written up. The 3rd most common cause of the fumes is from faulty windshield heaters. There have been 28 reports in the last 24 months. Judith just sent the new report and data with eline to go out, we get these elines from International as they collect the data, it has been sent to be loaded for the next ASHS eline and falls in line in the same time frame as the last one. The website still has the links to international and informational video.
EM answered.
DL will handle this internally at 46.
