Elizabeth Mullins Letter of Interest for MEC President
October 1, 2025
Dear Members of the Master Executive Council,
I respectfully submit my letter of interest for consideration to continue serving as Master Executive Council President for Endeavor Air AFA-CWA. Should the voting members determine that my qualifications are best aligned with the role of Master Executive Council Vice President or Master Executive Council Secretary-Treasurer, I would also be honored to serve in either of those capacities.
Looking ahead, my vision is to build on the progress we have achieved by strengthening unity within our membership and its leaders, preparing strategically for the upcoming Section 6 negotiations, and ensuring that safety, wellbeing, and quality of life remain central to our priorities. I remain committed to fostering collaboration across committees, advancing transparency, and ensuring that the voices of our Flight Attendants guide our work at every step.
With over 27 years of union experience, including 17 years with AFA, I bring a proven record of service in multiple leadership capacities—MEC President, MEC Vice President, MEC Secretary-Treasurer, LEC Vice President, and Committee Chair. It has been my privilege to lead and serve during periods of significant challenge and change, ensuring that the MEC’s work is carried out with efficiency, transparency, and an unwavering commitment to our membership.
Throughout my tenure, I have cultivated and maintained strong, professional relationships with Management in both Safety and Inflight, leveraging these connections to further our collective goals without compromising our union’s principles. Since beginning my airline career in 2008, I have been actively engaged in mobilization campaigns, base transitions, safety initiatives, grievance advocacy, and member education. I am deeply committed to advancing contract knowledge among Flight Attendants, fostering unity within the MEC, and ensuring that our work reflects both the priorities and best interests of our members.
I fully understand the complexities and responsibilities of all three MEC Officer roles and stand ready to continue contributing wherever I can be of greatest service. My knowledge, experience, and dedication to transparency uniquely position me to help guide our union through the upcoming Section 6 negotiations in 2027, to strengthen collaboration with ALPA that has already started, and to continue to advance critical safety and quality-of-life initiatives through our LOAs and reporting programs.
In April a letter was submitted to International by LECP 46, at the time, Oscar Ochomogo to nominate me for an award. In the letter Mr. Ochomogo advised:
“As many of you might know, we had alot of internal disagreements and setbacks in the EDV MEC. When we needed a new MEC President, Elizabeth stepped up and did something no one else was able to do. She was able to restore order and help us communicate and work together. Her strong leadership, helped the MEC put the issues behind us and collaborate together for the betterment of ALL EDV Flight Attendants. Our MEC now is solid and works as a team.”
That letter proves my commitment to work for all our members on behalf of the LEC's. I have continued advocating for the needs of each LEC separately on what their particular issues are as well as advocating for a whole as they have directed me to do. In my time I have proven I am here to serve and work for ALL the members of Endeavor Air and do so with integrity and transparency, my schedule and what I do daily have always been made available to everyone.
I fully understand the complexities and responsibilities of all three MEC Officer roles and stand ready to continue contributing wherever I can be of greatest service. My institutional knowledge, experience, and dedication to transparency uniquely position me to help guide our Council through the upcoming Section 6 negotiations in 2027, strengthen collaboration with ALPA, and advance critical safety and quality-of-life initiatives through our LOAs and reporting programs.
