Meet Your Negotiations Committee

Representing Endeavor Flight Attendants at the Bargaining Table

As we prepare for contract negotiations, one of the most important parts of the process is ensuring that the priorities and experiences of Endeavor Flight Attendants are represented at the bargaining table.

Your Negotiations Committee brings together Flight Attendants with different backgrounds, experiences, perspectives, and years of service. Together, they will work with our AFA Staff Negotiator and MEC leadership to develop and advance bargaining priorities based on the input of our membership.

Throughout negotiations, member participation will be critical. Surveys, Town Halls, updates, and other opportunities for feedback will help ensure that the committee understands what matters most to Endeavor Flight Attendants.

Meet the Flight Attendants who will represent you at the bargaining table.

Braley Garland

LGA-Based | Negotiations Committee Member

Braley Garland began her career as an Endeavor Air Flight Attendant in 2018. Originally from Woodstock, Georgia, she spent her first four years based in Atlanta before making the move to Astoria, New York, in 2022. She has been LGA-based ever since.

Braley is a strong advocate for Flight Attendants staying informed and educated about every aspect of the job. She believes that understanding our Contract and workplace rights is essential—and that Flight Attendants should know their rights and be prepared to stand up for them.

Serving on the Negotiations Committee is Braley's first formal role with AFA, and she is excited for the opportunity to become more involved in the Union and represent her fellow Flight Attendants at the bargaining table.

She hopes this experience will be the beginning of continued involvement with AFA and additional opportunities to work on behalf of the Flight Attendants who make Endeavor what it is.

Sunil Madahar

JFK-Based | Negotiations Committee Member

Sunil Madahar has been an Endeavor Flight Attendant since 2017. A lifelong New Yorker, he has been based at JFK throughout his entire career with Endeavor.

During his nine years with the airline, Sunil has experienced two contract negotiations, numerous management changes—including multiple CEOs—the COVID-19 pandemic, and many Company policy changes that have impacted Flight Attendants both on and off duty. He has also served as a Check Flight Attendant and has previous experience working with the Union.

Before joining Endeavor, Sunil spent 25 years in the tennis club industry, serving as both a General Manager and club owner. His experience as a business owner taught him an important lesson that he carries into negotiations: employees are the lifeline of any successful business, large or small, and taking care of them matters.

Most importantly, Sunil genuinely loves being a Flight Attendant. He wants to see practical, common-sense improvements that improve the quality of life for all Endeavor Flight Attendants and recognize the dedication they bring to the profession every day.

When he isn't flying, Sunil enjoys Broadway shows and sporting events. A longtime Rangers and Knicks season ticket holder, he still can't quite believe he finally got to witness an NBA championship in his lifetime!

Sunil is excited to serve on the Negotiations Committee and looks forward to the work ahead. He believes Endeavor Flight Attendants deserve a contract that fairly compensates them for their time, work, and commitment—and that by remaining informed, engaged, and united, we can achieve that goal.

Jason Ostrowski

MSP-Based | Negotiations Committee Member

Jason Ostrowski began his career as a Flight Attendant with Mesaba Airlines on December 1, 1992. He was one of the original Flight Attendants involved in organizing AFA on the property and has remained actively involved in the Union ever since.

Throughout more than 30 years of union service, Jason has held numerous leadership and committee positions, including:

  • Local President
  • Local Vice President
  • MEC Vice President
  • MEC Grievance Chair
  • Grievance Representative
  • System Board Member
  • MEC Uniform Committee Member
  • Seniority Integration Committee Member during the merger
  • Negotiator for our first AFA contract

In addition to these formal roles, Jason has stepped in wherever needed throughout the years to support the membership and the work of the Union.

His extensive experience with contract enforcement, grievances, union leadership, seniority integration, and previous contract negotiations brings decades of institutional knowledge to the Endeavor AFA Negotiations Committee.

Jason has been actively involved with AFA since the beginning of our Union at Mesaba and continues that commitment today as a member of our Negotiations Committee.

Our Contract. Our Priorities. Our Voice.

Successful negotiations require more than the people sitting at the bargaining table. They require an informed, engaged, and united membership.

As negotiations move forward, we will continue providing updates and opportunities for Flight Attendants to participate in the process.

Stay informed.

Participate.

Make your voice heard.

Together, we are stronger.
