Uniform Allotment

Your AFA MEC has received information from Flight Attendants indicating that their uniform allotment is incorrect. We appreciate this feedback and wanted to give you information on how to check your allotment.

  1. Login to M & H Uniforms and check your balance and orders. You can login in here.
  2. You can call M & H at 1–800–888–9927 during PST business hours.
  3. Contact Darlene in the uniform center by emailing uniforms@endeavorair.com and copy in the union (info@edvafa.org).

If you find that your information is incorrect, management or M & H will do an audit and determine the amount. If you disagree with the audit, please email your manager and copy in the union.

Health And Benefits

Health and Benefits

I’m proud to introduce myself as the Health and Benefits MEC Chair to addition of being the MEC Government Affairs Liaison working on behalf of the Endeavor Air Flight Attendants. This is an amazing new role and the position is in its infancy. There is a lot of work to be done. We are dedicated to getting information to you that will ease burdens.

If you are signed up for Endeavor Air (cigna) Insurance, there are 2 different health insurance plans. There is the OAP plan and there is an HRA plan. If you have the HRA plan, we have a HRA (Health Reimbursement Account) attached to those health benefits. Endeavor contributes $250.00(single)/$500.00(employee+spouse/dependent) a year to use for prescriptions, health care visits, etc. If just you, the employee, completes a Health Assessment($50.00 incentive to the HRA) and tobacco questionnaire ($100.00) , a total of $150.00 will be added to your HRA. Your Spouse/dependent may also complete the Incentives to add to the HRA account.

To get started:

  • Go to mycigna.com
  • Review my account
  • Health Reimbursement Account
  • View your Incentive program

Wellness incentives need to be completed by September 30, 2016 so you can be funded in January 2017. If you complete the Incentives between October 1, 2016 and December 31, 2016 you will be funded into your HRA account on April 1, 2017.

While you are on the mycigna.com site, on the right hand side of the screen there is a Discount Programs/Healthy Rewards that may be of interest to some of you.

If you like more information to refresh yourself about benefits, you can find that information by going to:

  • Endeavorairnet.com
  • HR tab
  • Benefits guide/open document

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

In Solidarity,

Paula Jacobson

Recently, management made a revision to our FAM requiring Flight Attendants to switch cabin positions each work day. As Endeavor Flight Attendants know this has not been the rule. We have always exercised our seniority to bid our position on the aircraft, and, if we wished, maintained that position for the entire trip. Not only is this change a Contract violation, but strikes at the heart of our seniority.

Because of the FAM change AFA has filed an MEC Grievance today (#36–099–02–26–16). We would like management to reverse this decision and not require switching, so that individual Flight Attendants may themselves choose how to use their seniority.

Endeavor Flight Attendants with some seniority will remember our seniority integration fights with Pinnacle back in 2012. We had to assert our right under the McCaskill-Bond Law for fair and equitable seniority integration. Ultimately management was forced to concede that Flight Attendants through their Union (not management) owned seniority, and had the right and authority to integrate seniority. We have filed this grievance because seniority is everything in the airline industry.

We need your help to get out the word that this is a bad idea. We don’t want management dictating our seniority or eroding our seniority. Watch for more information on this seniority issue.
